What is PTS?

Your holiday payments are held within the PTS trust structure, helping to protect your money throughout the booking process.

PTS vs ABTA – what’s the difference?

PTS and ABTA are separate organisations and provide protection in different ways.

ABTA is a well-known UK travel association whose members agree to follow its standards and code of conduct. ABTA also provides financial protection for certain types of holidays and bookings.

PTS focuses specifically on financial protection through a trust-based system, where customer money is held separately within the PTS trust structure.

The important thing isn’t simply whether a travel company has an ABTA number or PTS protection. It’s understanding what protection applies to your particular holiday.

How does PTS protect your money?

When you book your holiday with us, your money isn’t simply treated as ordinary business funds.

Payments are protected through the PTS trust structure, with funds held securely and managed in accordance with the PTS arrangements.

No.

Financial protection and travel insurance cover different things.
